We offer primary care, preconception and fertility services, and midwifery services.

Christy Tashjian has been helping families welcome babies in Austin and surrounding communities as a homebirth midwife for 14 years. Jenni Huntly joined MotherBloom Midwifery in 2013, and April Blackmore joined in 2019. Their inclusive practice provides primary and gender-affirming care, as well as complete prenatal care and postpartum care in a loving and relaxed environment, and natural childbirth at home using informed choice as the foundation of practice. Services include nutrition counseling, preconception and fertility counseling, insemination, childbirth classes, water birth if desired, breastfeeding support, and other holistic care techniques. Christy, Jenni, and April are active members of the strong community of Austin midwives who work collaboratively and proactively to provide high-quality, holistic home birth and individualized prenatal and postpartum care to birthing families.

Queer Healthcare: Christy Tashjian and Jenni Huntly are committed to providing culturally sensitive care to members of the queer and trans community, including reproductive healthcare and primary care appointments. Our practice provides access to care for LGBTQ families and individuals, poly families, heterosexual families, families and individuals conceiving through surrogacy and/or IVF, and families from the attachment parenting and homeschooling communities. Jenni also facilitates trainings for healthcare providers on LGBTQ culturally sensitive prenatal and birth care.
